Twitter Tests New Edge-to-Edge Timeline Design on iOS Devices

The popular microblogging platform Twitter has added diverse functions for its users to improve the user experience recently. To add to the list of already-available test features The company recently unveiled a new edge-to-edge timeline layout that will display video, GIFs and photos on Twitter for iOS.

The company has announced the new feature in a tweet that was officially announced and a video. In the course of testing, Twitter for iOS will display images, videos GIFs pictures, and videos in an edge-to-edge layout instead of creating blank spaces around the images. Twitter in an email sent to The Verge stated that it was testing the feature to enhance conversations on its platform that are both visually and text-based.

In this way, the media shared will have a larger viewers’ area of view, and they will have a better view of the videos GIFs, and other images that are attached to tweets. Twitter’s official tweet is below.
